   Das ist doch auch nur die normale Edition, also nicht die Black Phantom Edition mit den Extras. Kann schon stimmen der Preis.

    Rumour: Demon’s Souls due to receive ‘Standard Edition’ release

    Update: HMV have since pulled the listing, and deleted its advertisement from their Twitter feed. Seems that someone may have let the cat out of the bag a little early?

    However, ShopTo have also listed a Standard Edition due to release on the same specified date. Their price is slightly higher though at £26.85.

    Original Story:

    With last week marking the anticipated European release of the compelling yet brutally challenging PS3 exclusive RPG title, Demon’s Souls, a product listing by UK retailer HMV has seemingly outed that a further edition of the title is due to be released this August.

    Whilst the title is currently available only in its ‘Black Phantom Edition’ form, which includes a Strategy Guide, Artbook and Soundtrack CD, it would seem that Namco Bandai have further plans to release a ‘Standard Edition’ that we can presume does not contain such extras.

    The listing places the release date as August 6th with an incredibly attractive price of £14.99, perhaps mostly aimed at enticing those a little unsure of picking it up. You can catch a link to it on your right.

    Namco Bandai were unavailable for comment at the time of writing.
